Digital STATION ROSE art and music, STReamed in real time, started off as »Webcasting 1.0« during the 1999 »CrossLinks« exhibition in Berlin co-curated by Gabriele Horn, director of KunstWerke Berlin. Back then there was no YouTube, Facebook or Twitter. Around 200 webcasts were broadcast from Frankfurt until 2005, when headquarters moved to the STR studio in Vienna, which is currently being converted into a webcasting studio.
